![]() What they did make an impact on was a positive running experience – sometimes those medial posted shoes were heavy, a bit clunky in transition and overall not super enjoyable, so we’re taking a different approach. ![]() Holt adds, ‘I think what we do know is running-related injuries and rates of injuries haven’t drastically changed over the last 3-4 decades, which means the product solutions that we had been providing didn’t really make an impact. ‘In 2020, we did a similar study with more than 300 athletes and we tested the first Infinity, the second Infinity 2 and the Invincible, and we found that the injury rates between all three were the same – that low injury rate that was carried over from the first Infinity.’ When asked if the new version of the shoe, and indeed the Zoom X Invincible Run, Nike's other injury-reducing innovation, had similar statistics, Worobets outlines the latest trends. The findings showed that runners wearing the React Infinity had a 52 per cent lower injury rate than those in the motion-control shoe, with wearers noting that they felt less pain in their knees and feet. ![]() Half wore the Nike Structure 22, a traditional motion-control shoe, and half wore the new Nike React Infinity Run. Conducted by the British Columbia Sports Medicine Research Foundation (BCSMRF), the study divided 226 runners of all ages and abilities into two groups as they trained for a half marathon. Some members of the RW team were sceptical about the injury-reducing claims made by Nike when the Infinity React was launched a year ago Holts is happy to go into detail about the study behind the assertion. Finally, Nike has incorporated ‘Flywire cables’, which the company says give the runner more precise support and security. The tongue and collar of the shoe now feature ‘lofted foam for a more supportive and comfortable fit and feel’, says Holt. There's additional support in the toebox and Nike says it has made the vamp and midfoot more breathable. So what has changed? ‘It was really more about minor tweaks to the upper and ensuring that the upper felt as protective, as supportive and as cushioned as underfoot,’ Holts explains. Nike says, ‘the heel clip, midsole and outsole remain the same as the previous React Infinity, which provides cushioning for impact absorption and a soft ride, wide forefoot nets for stability without medial posting and rocker geometry for a fluid transition.' The structure of the shoe is similar, too – a wider toebox and heel, and an exaggerated heel-toe rocker geometry to help runners get their foot on and off the ground quicker. Like the previous model, the Infinity Run 2 uses Nike React Foam, which is designed to give runners decent underfoot cushioning. ![]() ‘We knew from underfoot cushioning, stability and protection that we had a great product and we had great feedback from runners, so we wanted to ensure we kept that consistency and kept all those things that runners said they enjoyed about that first iteration.’ ‘The changes are pretty minimal and that was the point,’ Holts tells Runner's World. disable Windows Smart Screen, as well as update the Visual C++ package if you can’t download, try to copy the link and download using anotherbrowser!ģ. disable / remove antivirus (files are completely clean)Ģ. I've also never tested a lo-fi wireframe that got unbiased results. Something I think looks good in lo-fi falls apart once I start detailing it out, so it's faster just to jump right into the high-fidelity. Sketches and wireframes simply don't work well for me. Crazy 8s is another theoretically useful tool, but one I personally don't find valuable. However I couldn't tell you the last time I seriously used sketches or lo-fi wireframes in my processes. I want to defend them, because I feel that it can be helpful step in the process. With that being said, If do screens completely from scratch, I tend to do wireframes. But they may not cover all scenarios, or they might become less relevant because world/tools have changed. ![]() Principles are there to help you and guide you. In that way, I can work faster, and the screens don't look "finished", so I get plenty of good feedback. So that the area of the screen that I need to design has wireframes, while the rest I high-fidelity. ![]() So I will copy an existing high-fidelity screen, and just put wireframe elements into it. In practice, I design screens that are a mix of high and low-fidelity. If you spend more time doing pure wireframes than high-fidelity screens, you are not really that agile. And when I decide to do wireframes anyway, I feel like I just do it for the sake of doing wireframes. But I don't really do wireframes anymore especially if make designs that are built on top of already existing screens. ![]() Without spoiling too much of the why, this eventually leads Even to set off to reach Odd and rescue her sister from the queen herself. Indie is almost no longer an apt descriptor for the Swedish outfit though, now a studio of 80+ people. After having the chance to sit down (virtually) with two of its core creators as well as get hands-on with a small portion of the game, I can predict another Zoink banger on the horizon. It’s an action-adventure title that draws heavy inspiration from dark fairy tales, tabletop RPGs and stop-motion cinema, which is an exciting mash-up in and of itself. Zoink is a team seemingly brimming with ideas and the talent to match and with that in mind it’s fantastic to see the studio partnering with EA Originals once again for their new game, Lost in Random. Due to this, you need to be proactive when using this weapon instead of reactive. Negating Cube is a support weapon in Tower of Fantasy that focuses more on shielding rather than healing. Being the only SR weapon that can provide healing made this weapon valuable so if you're aiming to be a support and don't have another SSR support weapon like the Venus, Absolute Zero, or the Negating Cube, know that this is a great substitute. This is the only SR weapon that reached A Tier in this list and this is because of the emphasis placed on healing weapons, especially in multiplayer content like joint operations. Aside from that, this weapon is a great shield breaker but lacks the balance that Molten Shield provides which means that it's only good for shield breaking and a little weaker when dealing damage. Which is its full potential being locked behind star advancements. Definitely much better than the Molten Shield, but it suffers from the same problem. Like Thunderblades, its potential is locked behind its star advancements.Īnother tank weapon in the game. Don't get it wrong, it's a pretty balanced weapon, but once you see how the other weapons handle shield breaking and damage dealing, you're going to wonder why this weapon does not provide as many benefits as the others. The tank weapons in this game are a little lacking, and the Molten Shield is a testament to that. Once you get that, it shoots up to S Tier, but without it, it's A Tier at best. The answer to that is due to its reliance on its star advancement which means that the best time to use this weapon is when you get its first star advancement. Now, you might be wondering why it's A Tier if it dishes out a lot of damage. This weapon is a lot of fun to use so if you like to go in head first into battle, this weapon is a great fit for you. For these reasons, Icewind Arrow lands on the A Tier.Īnother weapon that dishes out a lot of damage is Thunderblades. On the other hand, if you compare it to the Chakram of the Seas' ability to cover both damage and shield-breaking capabilities, Icewind Arrow just falls short. The only thing going on for it is that it can deal tons damage and its range is much farther than Dual EM Stars, however, it lacks its mobility and attack speed. Icewind Arrow is playing on the same playing field as Dual EM Stars and Chakram of the Seas, and compared to them, the Icewind Arrow just falls short. Learning the combos of this weapon will make it even stronger. However, this weapon dishes out a lot of damage and is really good in PvP. Due to this, you're going to be more of a mid-range fighter than a long-range fighter. Just pressing the dodge button (without any direction) will summon bats in front of you and pull your enemies closer.Īgain, similar to the Chakram of the Seas, if you're a tank and you're having trouble breaking shields, you might want to include this in your loadout.ĭon't be fooled by this weapon as this is more of a melee weapon rather than a ranged weapon even though it's literally a gun. This weapon is also good at grouping opponents especially if they're small ones. Compared to Chakram of the Seas, this weapon is straightforward to the point of just hitting the opponent a couple of times, and using its skill is enough to break the opponent's shield. Scythe of the Crow is a much simpler weapon for shield breaking. If you need a healing weapon that occasionally deals a lot of damage, Venus is a great pick. This means that not only does it fit with support builds, but it's also able to fit with any type of build and this flexibility is highly appreciated in Tower of Fantasy. It's a support weapon with healing capabilities, however, unlike Absolute Zero, it has more offensive capabilities. Similar to Chakram of the Seas, this weapon needs a little bit of time to get used to. Due to this, when you're playing as a tank, you might want to have this as a backup weapon to use for breaking shields. But once mastered, this weapon is one of the most powerful DPS weapons and can easily eat the shield of your opponents. This weapon requires a little bit more finesse to use. If you're solely focused on healing, this weapon is a great match for you. The main reason the Absolute Zero is in this tier is because of the heals they provide as well as their debuff cleansing, especially in team content. This weapon is a godsent for tanks as it provides great healing on par with the other support weapon on this tier, Venus. Want to check out all the available weapons in Tower of Fantasy? Focus entered the language of optical science with the sense of a place where things converge, and it is this sense of convergence and centrality and the sharp image that a correctly focused lens produces that we intend when we speak of FOCUS in writing. Borrowed without change from Latin, this word surprisingly first meant "hearth" or "fireplace" (compare fellow derivatives FOYER and FUEL)-in other words, that central point from which heat and light radiate throughout a structure.
